Default Safe limits- stock GSR internals?

I'm considering using this excellent GT-R ball bearing T28 sitting on a shelf in my garage on my GSR motor. I'm figuring 12psi on it should be good for about 230-240whp.

What kind of limits are we talking on the stock GSR bottom end? I would think about 300whp would be a good safe limit.....................but you all have more experience than I.

Thanks in advance for the heads up.

Also, if anyone feels kind enough to share, what size are the stock injectors? 250-300cc/min?

well, you gotta remember, a GT-R t28 doesn't push the CFM a t3 flanged hybrid does.

hmm. Next question, LS rods won't work in a GS-R right? They're 1.7mm longer than GSR rods....

Stock gsr/itr/ls/d16 injectors are 240cc.
LS rods will only work in a gsr if you have an ls crank.

Stock internals can handle 300 whp on pump gas without an issue, however the limits of the stock bottom end is going to be the cast piston ringlands.

Do not rate the limit of a setup by PSI....
Have your tuner advise you as to what your setup's limits are.

thanks. I know not rating by psi as turbos vary greatly in cfm from one to another.

I figured 300whp would be the limits. And yeah, good old cast pistons and high ring lands.

looks like i'll be lookin for gsr forged rods and some 9:1 pistons eventually.
