Does anyone know of a good shop that will finish my project i have a 87 crx and the motor has been swaped out for the si but i need to take the old carb wiring harness out and route the new fuel injected and also get a fuel pump and maybe run new fuel lines.I dont really have the time to and since its just going to be a dd till i finish my other crx, i was thinking of just paying someone to finish it have and ideas??

i just got through with a carb-efi conversion, and its way more then a few hundred dollars worth

wiring alone would be a few hundred dollars, depending on your fuel line, i wasn't going to screw with the stock bullshit so i ran a SS line from the pump to the fuel rail and put an inline filter in it, and that whole setup was like $150

i'm not trying to discourage you, if i can do it anyone can do it, but i think a few hundred dollars is low for the work involved

did you keep the stock tank or swap it out i was thinking maybe swaping the tank for the si that has a built in fuel pump would be a better idea and then just run a new line to the fuel rail? This is all new to me so bear with me.

my carb pump was in tank, so i just replaced it with an Si pump, but the tanks are different in that the EFI tank is baffled so its rumored that you can run out of fuel on hard accel, braking, cornering...etc, but i have yet to run into that issue yet

i found it much easier to run a new stainless SS line for my high pressure feed line, and used my old low pressure feed as my new return

new filter

but i've encountered a new problem, as my brake and fuel lines all ran through the car, there is no area for them under the car, so now thats the lowest part of the car at a point

but its much simpler this way then to try and use the stock line, the stock requires dash and heater core removal, as well as the addition of the unsightly filter on the firewall

i'll be at trackday tomorrow if you want to look at it
