dizzy ??

Default dizzy ??

some one told me u cant install a honda dizzy 180 out but the car im working on has no spark and sounds outta time and the rotor points to the number 3 cyl??i dont know ??

the fork on the dizzy is offset...just take it off and look at it....

check to see if theres fuel..if theres no fuel and no spark its the main relay.

if theres just no spark its more then likely something in the distributor (cap & rotor, ignitor, coil)

generally you cant go 180 out ....but i have seen a guy that forced it in there like that....if it isnt going in easy its prolly not lined up right.

ok thanks i dint think the would go 180 out.there is fuel just no spark right now.and it a 92 integra.the cap,rotor, and plugs are new.how do i test the coil and ignitor?

the easy way is swap them out with another one.....just yards are your friend. ignitors are expensive....

if its the coil you can get an msd cap and coil for 88 bucks from discount
the stock one is 109.

you can pull an ignitor from a good portion of d/b series engines

i have one from a 90 ls in my 92 gsr dizzy (for example)

thnaks man i found a used dizzy pretty cheap ill probley just pick it up.some body else told me i could use a single cam dizzy but im not shure on that?also i was told i could jump the igntor of the batter and see if the car started that way?idk i never really delt with dizzy problem before

never tried either one of thoes ideas.....i dont think a single cam dizzy would line up......but the caps are the same...

i have an ls dizzy for cheap and as far as a single cam dizzy i dont think so...but if you need a dizzy i got 1 with a new cap rotor and coil....
