Hello
My GF has a Classic Mini cooper with the Honda V tech conversion. 3rd gear went out on the transmission last week.
The car is at a shop and needs Syncros, slider and hub, parts. THe dealer will only sell the complete 3 & 4th unit. We dont need the gears etc.
I was told that the engine is out of a 2000 civic Si and that transmission was only made for 1 year. Is this true? If so where besides the dealer does one find parts. The Hub is the part that we cant find..

i dont think you will find it any other way, other than used. cheap enough though, bite the bullet and buy the set.
