Default d15/d16 compressor question

hey peeps,

does anyone know if the d15 compressor fits on d16 engine. Well, let me put it this way. It fits cuz that's the set up i have... but i'm not sure it's good for the motor overall...

However, i'm still using the d15 original belt and the motor screams/squeaks all the bloody time and it's pissing me off!

SO, will switching the belt to a d16 compressor belt stop the squeaking? (yes it's the kinda squeaking that you hear when the motor is cold more so than when it's hot, but you can still hear itwhen it's hot).
Don't ask me why i haven't changed the belt sooner, cuz i'll tell u i did buy a d16 a/c compresor belt but a friend has it and i can't get hold of the friend so i've been putting it off for since i swapped motor, not wanting to buy another a new one but i think i'm gonna spend the money and change it cuz it's driving me nuts each time!)

unless a d15a/c compressor isn't recommened to be on a d16 and then, well i'll have to get one asap...

thanks for answering.
peace
