u dont want it to go into vtec with a cold motor. itl cold sieze and ull cry. but if you want get ur ecu chipped and have them disable vtec coolant check. then it wont look for a certai coolant temp to go into vtec. wouldnt do it if i were u IMO, just warm the motor up and have at it.

i understand that. i want it for that track so that i can cool down the engine inbetween runs and not have to worry about it not going into vtec when i launch it and vtec dosent kick in

yes. you have to disabel vtec coolant check on a chipped ecu. then it will go into vtec at whatever engine temp you want.

i would sit in line for 35 min with my crx off and have no problems with vtec not popping. afterward i got a feilds vtec controller and that would let me hit vtec just reving it no matter what temp

i have never had a problem with vtec at the track with my b16 it doesnt take long for it to get warm enough. i think it would be a waste of time. but thats my opinion
