Default B18B1 Teg Idle problems

Well my integra ls 97 is not acting right. If its just parked and sitting there on it will stay at about 500 rpm and then will go up to 1000 and drop almost to zero and then go back up and do the same. When im driving i hit the gas and it doesnt want to move and then after a little bit it will pick up and start moving again. Very wierd i dont know what to do anybody know what could be the issue ?

+1 sounds like the TPS.

Also could be the Fast idle or cold start valve.

thats how my accord was acting..

Maybe get your fuel pressure checked...

Ive had the problem that the car would bounce around idle but wouldent go anywhere. fuel pump was crapped out.

check the ECu codes to see what is going on. if its the tps it will tell you

no i meant to check the fuel pressure. if its low then your fuel pump may be failing

yeah man haha i went to advanced auto and had them scan it for me. turned out that my fourth cylinder misfired so all i had to do was buy a new spark plug. I bought all four and it was fine changed them myself right there. so yeah pretty easy fix thank god it wasnt anything worse.
