Default 95 civic ex z6 motor

Whats up TR, I need some help in figureing out what the hell is wrong with my car. The problem I am haveing is that while I am driving the car turn off and loses power. The check engine light comes on and off, but the funny shit is that when the light is on it wont turn off and it actually drives good. But when the light is off that is when it acts up. When the light is on it throws code 8 and 15 but that is what I cant understand that when the check engine light is on it wont act up or turn off. But some days the check engine wont come on at all and then it drives like shit. Anyone have a info on what could be causing the problem. That shit is driving me crazy.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

Pull off your distributor and look for copper wire to be spun around since you have a TDC sensor CEL

When the sensor basically falls off there is nothing really to do but replace the distributor

This is why your car is acting up intermittently due to the copper wire wrapping around and not letting the distributor act properly. Did it to my 91 Hatch Dizzy and had to replace it (distributor ).

you may be able to save some $ and find one FS in our for sale section. yea its used but they do last awhile. I replaced mine with my CRX Distributor due to an engine swap I had the part as an extra.
