ok heres the deal i got a b20 with an LS tranny, but i just got a b16 tranny with phantom grip lsd. we got it in today and we put 2.5 quarts of handa manual trans fluid. we started it up and made a funny noise, then we test drove it once it worked fine, then test ran it again and it wasnt going in to gear. now when the clutch is pressed in all the way and we try to put it into gear it grinds, but if we let it up a lil it goes in. and when we have it in gear and let off the gas to let the motor stop the car we hear a winding noise...we are taking it back off to see if the throw out bearing is on right, and we also were told the clutch might be bad but it worked completely fine on the ls...idk does anyone have anything to say about this, or advise, anything, this is my dd!!!
