Default Integra question

Did any early model integras 1990-1993 come with a B16 stock? I am looking at buying an integra 4 door that is a 1990 and the seller sais it has a b16 motor in it. Now i know my share about Hondas, but i have never heard of an early model integra with a b16, let alone it being automatic. Any help is appreciated, and will rep

nope never. that had to have been swapped in. the 92-93 came with a b17 usdm vtec motor which was the special edition gsr of those years and they came stick. also the b17 came 3 door.

but not sure about 1990. i think maybe a crx sir or something came with a b16 head the year 1990... cuz i had one of the b16 heads from 1990 it was a pr3-4. but regardles.. sounds like a good old swap.

^ how it can be a b16 integra ef? ef is the chasis code for the jdm 88-91 civic hatch. as i said before it had to be swapped in and much more no 90 and up integra came 1.6, they were either 1.8 non vtec or the 92-93 usdm1.7 gsr vtec. the only way a integra would have came with a 1.6 vtec motor is if it was a real deal jdm car that was the integra xsi then that car would have been right hand drive along with all of the jdm goodies. so once again if it is usdm that motor was swapped into that four door with a auto tranny.

I'm pretty sure the kid is mistaken, i saw pictures, and it has a couple of wires ran seperatly, and yep going to the vtec solenoid. so it defanitly was a swap, he doesn't know anything about hondas, so to him, from hat the previous owner told him, is the stock motor
