ok guys i went through a huge puddle on a side road at a safe speed maybe 5-8 mph i get through and then like 2 sec later the car starts sputtering and acting like a fool i pull into a parking lot thinking no big deal go in swetbay for maybe 15 mins come back out car strats fine go to back up it start jerkking and shit... i get it home ..distance maybe 1 mile if not 2 ..... let it run for a few outside then turn it off thinking oh maybe a sensor got wet whatever .... got ready to go out to the club.. and boom car wont start and i hear a backfire type nosie and battery dies / throws check engine light on and off...??????????? so my questtion is did i semi hydro lock it like bend a valve or sumthing...........please help

def a wet disty cap, check it out man cus same thing happen to me, but it was cuz my idiot cuzin decide to hose down my motor without covering dizzy cap etc...

 

i dont think running threw a puddle of water at those speed can get water to your Dizzy ..??/ sounds werid.. check if you got spark?fuel? and if you still got the check engine light check for codes.. Also does it still crank or nothing at all..?
