well guys this is my first acura. got a 94 integra ls, heard of many ways to go with this im jsut not sure, its completely stock engine wise, i kinda wanna go turbo, im used to mitsubishi eclipses so it would be nice to go turbo again, so who wants to help point me in the right direction plus it would be nice to meet other integra people. well let me kno guys, would love to meet new people n see which way to go with this car

depends whats your budget, how much power do you wanna make, is it going to be your daily driver?

 

its gonna be a daily driver yes, i want decent power out of it, definately gonna go turbo i think, wut is k series? im new to acuras so dont kno much, is it good to go turbo on these?

 

u can turbo the b18 all stock till a 7lbs and make decnet power or if u pull and build it than thats a deffernt story

 

I have a GSR sleeved to 85mm completely built and Turbo'd and daily it. Right now I'm reassembling it for Turbo and Spray. K-series is out of the newer Honda/Acura Motors. They put down more power out of the box, but B series are cheaper and easier to build, swap, turbo. Do a lot of research on Honda-tech, and also go to team-integra.net... Welcome to the Honda/integra world first of all. Wise choice lol. i think first you would have to think about the history of Car. Such as " Mileage? any issues with leak? wiring? Bottom end?Just make sure you have a good working project car to start off with then add on to it(makes it easier later on). Were you lookin to turbo now or down the line. Are you trying to rebuilt the bottom end or not? I figure for now your cheapest and more affective route is Ls-vtec with bolt-ons and good ecu tuning. Also know how much you have to spend on it realistically, that'll help u know what options you can really afford? Do your homework on this site.Lots of good info, parts for sale to help with your build up, and even the guys with good credibility and prices to do your swaps.

And being a newbie to the teggy world make that search option your best friend for a while.It will answer almost every single question you would wanna know.Get a manual for your car( i can give you a link to down load it free if you dont have one and give your car a complete tune-up as well b4 building up. Im on 14lbs stock...? i wouldnt go past 7 or 8lbs on a gsr, but you can throw a good amount of boost at the ls.

as far as i know the car runs good, to me at least, launched for my first time last night, did pretty good, only thing i hate so far is i had heard orginally that the integras in this year bracket leaked sumwhere through the trunk, i know mine does because when i ripped up the carpet in the back to see wher the previous owner had left the wires for the system, there is a lot of rust, hell the rcas were rusted out totally, other then that the interior is in great shape no tears or rips or anything. oh and thank you guys for welcoming me, tryin to meet more integra and jsut honda people in general, all my friends are gst and gsx owners so they cant help much, awdsal helps me out a bit but we've been working more on his 1g right now. i do wanna build the bottom end, mostly because the cars got 170k miles, and as far as i know its stil a stock clutch. how much would it cost to build the bottom end good? well thanks in advance guys for all ur help, ha ha we all need to meet up one day so i know who yall are
