Default How noticble.

How noticble is vtec engagment on a d16z6 I was just wondering before I switch out my vtec solonied with the one I just bought to see if it's actually working

you wont feel it x-over. but you might feel it fall of if it wasnt working

I can barely hear mine at around 5k or so but I remember my old y8 was unnoticable.

Not trying to hear it or anything just trying to figure out if it is engaging, any tips on figuring it out before I switch it out.

let me drive it and i will let you know, best way is to unplug it and see if you can notice a difference

+1 with it unpluged you should feel it fall off over 5200. you could also install a vtec light which would tell you when it is turning on however, this will not tell you if the solenoid itself is working

Drive a car with a B18c5 then go back and drive the single cam.

I can't really feel a diffrence at all, and shouldent the exhaust tone get louder?
