I have heard mixed feelings about higher octane gas...i have heard that it leaves carbon deposits...so whats the deal....good or bad for civics...also i have heard different things about removing the resonator....what is it for exactly and would i notince any difference if i took it off?

I honostly believe that every once in a while its good to put the high octane gas in every once in a while. Save your money and put the 87 in more often than not.
Be careful though and make sure that theres not much carbon build up..

I dont really think its a good idea to put 87 octane gas in your car but I also dont think its a good idea to use extremely high octane gas. Either way I dont think change octane rating of gas going into your engine. I believe you should use a certain octane rating and stick with it. Personally I always use 92 or 93 octane gas only.

It really depends. If you are running a high compresion engine or using any power adders 93 octane is a must. I personally will detonate if I use anything lower than 93. If you are running stock compression on an ex with stock timing 87 will be just fine. If you want to tune it a little and bump your ign. timing then you will have to run 89 or 93.

just fill up your tank with the 104 octane BOOST... (NO REALLY DONT do that)

haha. If your stock i believe that you can use 87 but higher compression does need better fuel.. 93 then...
