Default ls cable tranny

Im doing a b16a2 swap in my 90 ef civic hatch and was wondering if the l.s cable tranny is compatible with it? Also if can i use my stock cables instead of buying modified ones? will they work???.

Yes the ls tranny will work on that setup and the stock cable will work also. Just remember that there are two different types of cable trannies. The input shaft diameter varys depending on the year of the tranny.

Doesnt matter what year you use all I was saying is that the input shaft diameter is different which means you need a different clutch disk. The 90-91 is 1mm smaller than the 92-93 transmissions.
