OK I realise I am really stretching here but I gotta try.
Does anyone have the stupid nut that holds the valve lash adjustment I REALLY need one!

Driving back to a friends house from the N. tampa spot sat. night my car started makin some funky sounds so i turn down the tunes and there it is valve train noise! woo hoo!
took the valve cover off and the nut is missing on one of my exhaust valves
so anyways now my car is down in Z. Hills waiting for a FREAKING NUT that nobody carries because its an off size in metric and the dealer wants $3.30 for one that they cant get to me until next tues.!!!!

I would appreciate any help you guys can give

Craig is always praising Pinellas Fastener. Ive yet to go there but supposedly they carry a ton of metric sizes. You can always try ACE hardware they have a lot of metric sizes and I always find what I need there...as long as Jason aint with me (you and your bad luck).

By the way what size is it? If I remember its a 10mm size and Im betting its a fine thread so that would make it 10x1.25mm
Most stores should carry that.

Doh! The nut itself is 10mm but the bolt diameter it accepts is probably 8x1.25.
