20 lbs for the caps in the middle and 7.2 lbs for the 10mm bolts on the four cam end covers.

torque the 10mm bolts to 7 Ft lbs first
torque the 12 mm bolts to 20 ft lbs in the following sequence be very careful not to torque them too fast or you will snap a bolt off like i did. do it very slowly.
9 5 1 3 7

8 4 2 6 10

I would not follow the 20FT pnd torque because it seems to snap bolts in the head. Has happened to more than one person that I know. I would do 15 pushing it.

Spec is 20 pounds. I've always followed spec with no problem, and of course Honda torques them to 20 pounds.
If someone is snapping them off, I would suggest they get their torque wrench calibrated. There is absolutely no reason a healthy bolt going into clean threads in the head would snap at 20 pounds. No way, no how.

i hear that..un-calibrated wrenches sucks come build-up time and also a problem is that lots of people (as well as my self would) keep re-torquing the same bolts etc and i think once you torque bolts a couple of times.. replace em. just what i feel.
