Can you use a Apexi Vafc vtec controller on a non-vtec motor

Default Can you use a Apexi Vafc vtec controller on a non-vtec motor

Someone asked me this question. and i wasnt sure what to say. I would assume that you could use it for the air/fuel ratio and the other features besides vtec ones, can you?

Yes you can but you obviously wont be able to use the vtec options.
