Default HID questions...

im shopping for an HID kit but i cant figure out where to buy and if i should get the bi-xenons. i heard its a metal caver over the beam that moves when the brights are activated...anyone have those? how well does it work? i dont want them if thats what they do. i would rather just have a one stage xenon. anyone got some input on this..?

OEM Bi-xenon... uses a solenoid attached to the shield inside the projector, this shield flips out of the way when the solenoid is active, allowing light to escape from the bottom of the projector... Thus creating a high-beam.

plug-n-play bi-xenon is either:

A: A bulb with a solenoid or a motor that moves the bulb forward and backward to move the arc from under the casper shield to under nothing... this solenoid/motor, as i've read, is shit.. and dies really fast.

OR

B: A bulb with two arcs... this bulb requires 2 ballasts.

The single stage is definately bright enough you really dont need the bi-xenon IMO.

Don't mean to butt in but I got a question and I figured I'd ask in here instead of making another topic. If I'm looking to buy an HID kit for my integra...I would have to get two sets for each pair of bulbs right? They don't sell them in fours? And what temp is the best? And for the high beams....do you usually get the same temp for them or higher? Sorry I don't know anything about HIDS and what exactly is needed.

you would have to buy two single beam kits.. im not sure what bulbs sizes they are i could check for ya.. but you can pretty much go with whatever temp you want..

EDIT: low beam for your car is 9006 .. high beam is 9005..

Awww man, I wish I could jump on it right now but I'm supposed to be getting a paint job so I don't have the money!!! Maybe the next time you have one up. Damn you're almost making me want to get these HIDS first with that good of a deal lol.
