which timing belt do i use?
which timing belt do i use for my motor. i know the b series ones are different sizes. i believe i use the ITR belt.

which water pump do u have? if its the gsr/type r water pump then use the gsr or type r belt (both are the same). if its the ls water pump then use the ls belt. the gsr/type r water pumps have 22 teeth i believe and the ls only has 19. so u need to match the belt to the pump.

^ arent the Vtec heads a different height? i know i used a GSR timing belt on my LS/V and i have an LS water pump...i've never had any issues...

it goes by which head you have so if you have a B16 head you use a B16 timing belt, by the way YBlegal im selling my slicks let me know if you want to buy them

Not correct. The heads are the same height.
Use a Vtec Water pump (22T) and a GSR,ITR timing belt for B18C and B18A/B blocks. Done.

nothing different in the head height.....its DECK height. b16 blocks are slightly shorter than b18 so they use a slightly shorter belt than the 1.8l (correct me if im wrong).

the gsr belt will work on a ls water pump.i have a gsr timeing belt on my Ls motor nonvtec: o ) only cause i had a new one laying around...i myself use all gsr belts on all lsvtec..even if i use ls water pumps..
