whats this wire for?

still trouble shooting why my car isnt working. I didnt notice this the other day when i switched out ecu's. I looked up wire diagrams for this ecu but couldnt find one that was listed as an all red wire in an obd2 set up.

this is the ecu set up i had orig. I was using an obd1 ecu with jumper harness

Looks like someone was tapping power directly from the ecu or making a jumper of some sort.

if someone can tell you by looking at that picture they should be working at honda making 200Ka year : o )..but if its cut im sure its for a tac or temp wire if its been spliced into

well i was just curious if anyone had seen anything like this technique used by people who do motor swaps. I paid a shop to do the swap a couple of years ago so I wasnt sure if it was something they had done. The car has never had a tach. I guess I can call the shop that did the swap and ask them but I dont really like dealing with them.
