ok i found a nice set of Weisco pistons that will bump my b20/vtec motor to 11 to 1. but my question is will they fit on the stock rods?

 

yes they should be a direct replacement.

 

+1, But if your doing that, Pullin apart the motor and everything, just buy rods and ill highly reccamend the Endyne break in for pistons.

 

^ if your doing an N/A set-up you dont need aftermarket rods....and at 11:1 i highly doubt hes going boosted.....

 

^however he may want to sip on a bottle....in that case its just a lil bit of extra insurance..especially when u can find eagle rods for about 200 on here..

well yea im staying n/a and no bottle. just didnt want the 9.2:1 compression ratio with a b20b/b16 combo. so just wanted to get pistons, i was planning on a ls/vtec so i have already all the bearings, water pump, oil pump, oil pick-up, baffle, rings and rod bolts( just need girdle and gsr main's), but when the p30 pistons deal had fell through i found a cheap b20b block so everything useable except the rings. just wanted to bump up the compression a little. ill take all the extra torque i can!

 

i use thos on my builds for ls/vtec that way you dont need to change over to the 3 Gsr main caps
