What Slicks Are You Running?
What Slicks Are You Running?
I'm in the market for some Drag slicks. I'm unfamiliar with which ones to use, since this is my first Turbo car. I used the BFG-Force Radials for NA motors and they did ok. But as for Boost, i doubt it.
So what Slicks would you recommend for a 350-400whp Civic Sedan? What size, brand...etc.
Thanks!

I've been running 225 bfg's with my 350+whp setup and they work ok, I've only taken one partial run on slicks and I'm sold on getting a pair soon. I'd still like to get an 11 on the bfg's.

I for one can say nothing but good things about my M&H 25x8.7/13's. They've worked really well for me from 300-550+whp, and Im sure will do well for more power. I've used them for a few passes at the track and numerous passes on the street, and they made the car feel like a whole different animal compared to the BFG drag radials....

T4EG has had better success with the MT slicks so I would recommend sticking to MT for slicks. As far as the MH 235/60 DOT's though They're the best street tire you will ever buy for a turbo fwd
