Default i need Help. Civic 1992 Dx D15b7

i need to know where i can find a shop to fix these problems.
or you know know wat the deal is please tell me.

*my batery dies after a couple days. ( its 2 months old) ( alternator is 3 weeks old)
*my idle surges( just replaced IVAC ) also dropps extremely low!
*my guage says the motor is over heating but when i press the peddle the temp goes down.ALSO. When i turn my lights off,the temp goes down . Its very weird and hard to explain)

so if u have any tips please help me today.. if not. direct me to a shop that wont break my bank account.

it sounds like you could have bad grounds. check that and your terminal connections. pm me and i can come take a look at it.

Sounds like thermostat is getting stuck.

my accord used to do the same thing.


Also

my idle surges( just replaced IVAC ) also dropps extremely low!

Check the cold start valve on the bottom of the throttle body!!

i have a Bseries obd2 TB. it did the same thing with my stock TB. so i dont think thats it. but im gonna try go adjust the thermostat. its brandnew and so is the seal

the obd2 iacv is used in conjunction with the obd2 tb. The obd2 iacv has a broader operating range to compensate for the lack of the fitv on the tb.

With some cars when the loose alternator belt allows the alt to slip,
instead of charging, the battery will run down.

When the lights are on, if the belt slips because of the load, lights off means less load, means less slippage, means better cooling.

So how tight is the belt?-Bob
