Default Road noise???

Hi all i have a 92 Civic Cx hatch..

This is my daily... It has a B18B1 swap in it with Ac

But anyways when im driving the car i can hear everything in side it like wind, anything on the ground, Tires hitting the road.

Are these cars like this??? Im thinking of dynamat the bottom of the car under the carpet when i change out the carpet.

Just want to get some insight on this if anyone has the same problem with there hatch.

make sure you have a low power heat gun to make it all smooth i would do as high up as you can unless you take off all the ac stuff then do from the windshield to the rear seat

I dynamatted the entire car except the roof of my EF. Then I put in new carpet and padding...let me tell you what the difference was amazing. I can cruise at 70 and talk normally! I highly recomend it. I did my car for roughly $400 (not including carpeting).

I bought dynamat extreme from the company itself (i work for a dealer so I go a good discount)...I double layered the doors and my side walls. I single layered the floor, and I double layered the firewall. We also used some on my buddies car but the $400 figure is just a roundabout. I think it was like $350ish to be more exact but I wanted the kid to have a more realistic number for a car that is a little bigger than mine.
