Default type r pistons??

hey guys, rgiht now i have a gsr motor with stock internals, with some bolt ons... I need to get new rings, and i figured while i was at it i will just get new pistons as well, my question is would i beable to put in intergra type r pistons and be good to go? or would i have to take into account other parts...i was thinking of type r pistons and type r cams, and get a nice tune on it, would this be a worthy thing or no? i'm not familiar with working with internals..thanks guys

you'll be safe with that and you'll feel a difference but i would invest in a good set of cams. i mean for the price of ctrs you can save a couple of bucks and buy some skunk2
