ok so i got a 91 hatch about 2 weeks ago, and it had a decent B18B swap with a B16 tranny. car was clean and all but....we all know we cant, not do anything to a car....so i swapped the swap out for a high compression LS/Vtec...

B18B stock crank/rods
ARP rod bolts
Endyn "roller wave" high compression pistons (yeild 12.5:1 in this set-up)
head studs
B16 head
ITR valvetrain and cams
shaved .040
golden eagle LS/Vtec conversion kit
DNX 4-2-1 2-peice header
2.25" Tsudo cat back with test pipe

motor was tuned in the previous car by John Solero a while back
i also changed the suspension and everything but since this is tech ill just post pix...

kudos for you... not feeling the traction bars but good luck with them.............keep the EF alive. whatever you do, DO NOT RICE IT OUT!!!!!!!!!

 

haha....no it will stay pretty much just like it is....this is my 3rd EF...i may try to make it to track day to see what it will do at the track...?¿

correction EX girlfriend, and she traded the car for a bike...i bought the car for a $1000! but ya i built the motor anyways(besides the bottom end assembly)....haha its my old bottom end that was sprayed like a bitch!

^ ya i thought about it while i had it apart, but i was on a time frame and had to get it all finished up...i still have to either put the other car back together or sell it as a shell then sell the swap....

 

^damn if only you were closer to me I could help you with a wire tuck in a day. Here's what I'm doing with mine. I'm lazy and haven't worked on it in almost a month. It could easily be done in a day ifI hadn'tof gotten lazy on myself....
