Default d16z6 Vitara Pistons

I'm Planing On Boosting My Civic And I Was Told That Vitara Pistons Were One Of The Best Low Compression Pistons ( 8:5:1 ) That I Could Go With, But Then I Was Told That They Wouldn't Last And That I Should Go With Forged Pistons.

Need To Know Info Good Or Bad

They're not forged. Just low comp. and dirt cheap. I would go far from calling them the best low comp. piston too. They are just good for a bang for buck, if you have the money definitly spend the cash on forged pistons

Every viatra piston motor I have tuned has had audible piston slap due to high piston to wall clearances.

Yeah the pistons have to be measured by hand, ive researched them for my build and have read how you need to measure them once you get them and how some builds have had that "slap"

you can buy oversized vitaras and just bore your motor out to be perfectly fit to spec. vitaras are not forged but are a stronger cast metal than stock honda pistons and have been proven for 400+hp! g/l
