Please I Need Your Help!!
I Got A 94 Accord Vtec And My Car Has Been Making This "clunking" Noise When I Turn Sharply. The Noise Comes Out Of The Driver's Side Front Wheel. I Took My Car To Midas And They Put It On The Rack And Checked It And Said It Was The "upper Ball Joint" That Was Bad. They Said I Needed To Buy A Whole New Control Arm. But I Just Want To Make Sure, Do Cars Really Make A "clunking" Noise When The Control Arm Is Busted When Turning Sharply??
P.s. Everytime I Go Over A Bump It Feels Like My Left Front Tire Is Very Loose And About To Come Off, By The Way This Is Where The Noise Is Coming From..

you can buy just the ball joint and have it pressed in and the old one pressed off.

+1 they either didnt have the tools to replace the ball joint itself(very unlikely) or they were trying to get more money.
