Default opinions on wheels/tires

So I won the RX motoring contest for free wheels. Pretty cool. But heres the deal, I get to pick any rim/wheel combo for 2500.

The wheels will go on my 500+ hp(i hope) teg.(https://www.tamparacing.com/forums/d...uild-pics.html)

I want the tires to be good for hooking and mabey alright to look at but traction is more important. I have slicks for the track so looking for some decent street tires.

So my question is what size rim?
I am thinking 15's but they seem pretty small.

And what tire? I want nittos but do not see any D/R's that will fit.

I found these bfg r1's(BFGoodrich Tires | g-Forceā„¢ R1ā„¢ | Tire Overview) that look good but not sure how they would be for daily driving?

what would you do. And I know its my car, and I ultimatly will do what I want but am looking for advice from more experienced folks. Thanks a bunch in advance.

So far my fav rims or Volk Time attacks, 15x7.

Big Props to RX for the awsome xmas gift.

i would go for the volks but in a 16x8 rim size if they have 'em and a 215/45or40/16 tire. i like the BF's but imo i would go for some nitto's. g/l with the decision.

Can you buy welds/Mickeys ? lol

I'd get some TE37's VOLK makes a 13X8 for drag package stuff and some 15X7 rears

or just get sosme 225/50/15 BFG GForce TA Drag Radial or if you can Mickey Thompson makes a 225/50/15 ET Drag Radial that hooks a little better ..

Get the tires and then pick the wheels lol

yea i am sold on the time attacks. 13s? the smallest time attacks i can find are 15x7's.

The mickey thompsons that i think will fit would be 3752R P235/60R15

the bfgs that i think will fit are R1's P225/50ZR15 - But will these hold up for driving around? will i get 5-10k miles out of them?

the other bfg's i like are g-force T/A Drag radials - P225/50R15

what do i get for rear tires? do i get 17's and some normal tires?

Thanks a bunch gentlemen.

M/T makes a 225/50/15 ET Radial I have them , trust me ...

15" all the way around or you can get the 255/50/16 M/T ET Radials if you want real traction but getting those to clear is going to suck lol

Just get some 15X7 all the way around
