obd 2 conversion

Default obd 2 conversion

i just took the whole wire harness and ecm out of my 96 4 dr civic....i have a 91 civic 4 dr....i would like to use the wire harness out of the 96 for the 91 to do a d16y8 swap....is this possible...and if so is it a pain in the ass to do?

Anything is possible, however it is not worth the effort.
You need to run an obd0 engine harness along with an obd0 to obd1 ecu harness. You would then need to wire in your obd2 components to the obd0 harness & run a chipped obd1 vtec ecu.
