tranny problems
ok heres the deal. since this cold wether ive started to hears some tranny noises. sounds like a bad throwout bearing. but noticed even w/ the clutch pushed in coasting at about 30ish the noise is still there. it has that dry bearing noise to it. no vibrations, trannys shift perfect just makes that noise. could it be the input shaft bearing or pilot bearing? rep given for any help thanks

Try not pushing in the clutch and with the car in neutral, engine on.

I have a brand new flywheel and complete new clutch assembly on my prelude and in cold weather with engine on and in neutral I also can hear a very slight noise that goes away. My mx3 also does this as well.

(not pushing the clutch w/ the engine on in neutral its really noisy loudest it gets and when i push in the clutch it goes away. im pretty sure it thes t/o bearing. and of course its as quiet as can be w/ engine off )
