after reading another post from here i noticed alot of people mentioned abut turbo-ing a d-series. ao i thought for a lil bit being that i don't kno jack shit about turbo's. what is ur opinion on a decent reliable turbo setup with or without OEM parts.

id build my own if i were you.. peice it together.. but since you dont know jack shit.. id do a ton of research first.. skip some of the forums first or check out a d-series.org forum.. learn how turbos work and whats effective and not effective.. remember turbo'd motors arent as reliable as n/a and require much more maintenance.. also rememeber that tuning is everything.. its the make it or break it of any turbo'd engine... getting a shitty tune or no tune it all, will only burn a hole in your pocket and give you tons of headache.. and dont expect it to be a walk in the park either...ecspecially being your first turbo setup...

do you plan to DIY? or have a shop take care of it.. in that case, do more research for a very well known shop/tuners..

i have a d16z6 and i plan on piecing it together my self one by one and then wen i have the money for the tuning then i'll jus throw the pieces together. i do plan on researching it at d-series.org but i jus wanted to go local and jus to see what u guys might have to say (opinion wise). i kno the basics of how a turbo works and all, but i would like to kno if their are specifics for my honda. but any info will be taken in in the most positive way i would jus like to learn a lil.
