need help battery dieing a/c stays on??

My battery is dieing because my ac is staying on but for the past couple days i have been just disconnecting my terminal but anyways it only stays on if i have it 1,2,3,4 but if i have it off the lights still stay on and drains my battery i need help and if anyone had this problem let me know and its a 93 eg h/b thanks

Your saying your a/c fan stays on with the key removed from the vehicle ?

yes i but i disconnevted my fan so it does not move but the lights are killing my battery

You should NOT have any power to your a/c components when the car is off with the key removed from the vehicle.

You have an electrical issue that is too complicated to troubleshoot over the internet. Find a respectable shop in the shop directory & take the vehicle in for repair.

Then probably the short was in whatever is connected to those plugs. If you have everything turned off, jumper the ground wire in those plugs, and also jumper a wire between the other contacts, one at a time,.................................... whatever sparks is whatever is still drawing current, and running down your battery.-Bob

fan was staying on until i disconnected it then when i would take out my key and if i had my ac on the blower motor will still be blowing but yesterday i just took my dash apart and just unhooked both harnesses that go to the ac unit my battery has nt dies yet in two days but i also have my optima in there
