Default 90-93 integra clutch info

Hey i posted a thread about my clutch going out and and specifically asked for a 1993 intgra clutch.
I just wanted to know if it is ok for me to put a 90-92 clutch in it too.
They are the same right?
Also would a 95 clutch work on my teg?
I have someone willing to give me one but me and him are not sure if it will go in my teg.
Can anyone help with this?

I have called around and they tell me that the clutches have 1 different number in the code.
and they said that they were not sure what effect that 1 number could have on the whole clutch setup.
what they told me was that it could be and entirely different clutch all together.

ok the 91 and older b-series trannys have the same number of splines as the older ones but have smaller output shafts than the 92 and up trannys,........if you dont belive me call and ask for the pilot tool for a 91 and then for a 92 ......if you got the money buy them(they are like $2) and compare

I would check the pilot shaft as Luvsracing says. Same year doesn't always mean same tranny/clutch, etc.

I long ago learned the hard way......pulled a replacement tranny, cleaned and painted it, pulled the old tranny, THEN found pilot shaft was a different diameter. GRRRRRR.....The difference between a "F" and a "H" on the stick-on tranny label........ both trannys were in the SAME year of car!
Pilot shaft bushing would not interchange, and they didn't have them in stock, anyway. They would only sell a pilot shaft bushing if you bought
a new flywheel...it was getting humorous....

I got smarter......-Bob

hmm sounds interesting cause I had to replace the clutch cable on my sisters cause it was so heard to push the clutch in that it snapped the cable so I thought that the shaft might be n a bind but when I pulled the tranny it worked fine so then I put it back on and it wouldn’t move again so I don’t know what it could be so I was going to get another clutch kit because I was told that maybe the pressure plate has failed I don’t know buts its getting real aggravating....

Here is the deal. All the pressure plates from 90-00 are interchangeable.

90-91 clutch disks are a different spline diameter than the 92+ trannies. Any 92+ (cable or hydro) clutch disk can be interchanged.

+1

I used a 92 cable clutch disk in a 97 hydro ls transmission and it fits fine.
