new to forum and jsut getting ideas.. i have a 01 type R teg with only tokico adjsutable struts and neuspeed springs and cai.. what else should i do? everyhting is stock and its only got 57 k miles on it.. should i change the cai to short ram which is better? and which exaust is good to get that dost sound like a bee in a can cause i dont want a crappy sounding exaust.. i can pretty much get any can with 2.5 - 3 inch piping right? and what kind of cams should i get and what should i do to the head? maybe sleeve.bore pistons? m not to sure and dont know to much about cars

 

dont get 3" piping unless you are turbo....

second dont use a cai if you like your motor

Dont wast money on those cold airs. Especially living in florida you might end up drinking out a puddle one day.

CAI were for dumbasses like me when i was 16. I blew 2 motor in my prelude. live and learn i guess! for what you got going on, i would do a k&n drop in and do a tune up (i.e. cap, rotor, wires, plugs, oil+filter, fuel filter and also add 1 qt. of atf to a full tank of gas this will clean and lube your injectors. everyone acts like this is common sence but alot of them dont do this, your car will run much smoother even if it only has 54k on it and start your work from there. for exhaust i loved my greddy evo 2 sounds so good and deep hard to find that sound for head work look at jg engineering if you get the time post some oics bro.
