Wait, your using obd1 injectors with a resister box? If so combine all the grounds for the injectors together by-passing the resister box, that should help.

????? Didn't know that. Are the colored wires grounds or positive too? Not trying ot be a dick jsut curious. But still in either case the obd1 injectors require 12 volts and the resister box puts them to 5.5± volts right? You know it better than I do, just trying to figure this stuff out too.

the injector box reduces the current(amps) not volts. The colored wires(brown, red, blue, yelow) that go to the ecu are "ground wires", the ecu contols the injectors by grounding them. DO NOT GROUND these to the body, or any wires that go to the ecu for that matter. -Neal

what is a 89 civic ek???

I thought 88-91 are Ef's?

But anyways if you are running OBD1 injectors you should put all of the wires that go to the resistor box and solder them together and remove the resistor box.

I was going to be running OBD1 injectors in my Rex but found some OBD injectors that you have to use the resistor box.
