i have a ek coupe with bswap and when i attempt to take off from a stop light my car feels like its got slack somewhere between the engine and wheels, or cv joints or some where

I put new NEW not re man axles in both sides and changed upper contol arms with ball joints because i thouhg t my ball joints were shot , they kinda were but the problem still percist.....

I know that a tie rod is going out because with the car off it has a noise iy makes buti wasnt sure if teh tie rods could give me this clunk/jolt,

I also pulled my e brake and you can see the tire lightly like moving back and forth, I just want it to be smoother,

I also thought it was my mounts but I have hasport with an engine dampener.....so

I can use any help

check all your front end bushings. all the lower arm bushing, sway bar, everything.


just a start. most likely bushings sounds like. so check those first and if thats the problem, they are super cheap. i think a complete bushing kit is like 150 bucks.

motor mount....check the rear first

 

+1 sounds like worn out torque mounts to me
