im buildin my d15 until i get a better motor for my car (94 civic dx what is the best motor to drop in it?) but for now i wont to pull ever horse power out of it i all ready have the head ported and pollished with a multi angle valve job, stage 1 intake manifold, nology hot wires, accell coil, reactive cold air intake, chikara headers stright to a catback exhaust, and the motor is stripped of a/c and other useless crap. what else could i do to get more power i am tryin to keep it all motor.

i will appreciate any help

i dont think anything you named added any horsepower..i would say if your pulling the motor out just go ahead with a d16z6 motor.it will be your best bet

id say forget the all motor factor unless your gonna do a big build and spend big its really not gonna go anywheres... spray it!!spray it!! thats what i would do... like last guy stated go with a Z6

Dont mod it and save up for a B20. Trust me you'll regret ever trying to hook up that engine.

do what i just did put p29 pistons in it shave the head .030 and a 75 shot but go with a cometic head gasket you will be pleased

yeah you have to shave the head somewhat with a stock b7 cause i think just the p29's provide a .2 compression bump and not worth it unless something else is done

and with all that intake exhaust stuff you have done doesnt do too much with out a good cam

thanks but i like the lil 1.5 the reason that i am building it because after i get a new motor built and ready to put in i am goin to put that lil 1.5 on a oversized gokart (should be fun) and where could i get a cam for it i looked every where and found nothing

i linked you a reputable aftermarket page, or you can throw an A6 cam in there with a y7 cam gear for a little umph or a delta 272

just put a z6 head on there for as much as you spend on a cam you can buy a z6 head/and put in new seals and resurface and still get the same out of it as just a cam
