Default Flashing check engine light

I found one answer on HondaTech which said it's a knock sensor, but would like to see if anyone else has had this happen and what they found out. I've got a 91 Crx, b17 swap, PR3 ecu, still OBD0. Put on my Blox intake manifold and stage 1 Comp Cams. Check engine light started flashing....on for a few seconds, off for a few, then back on again, etc...but NO light on the ECU. We threw a different chip in, put mine back in. Then it was throwing a TPS code. Replaced the thottle body (my TPS was broken), the TPS code went away, but the flashing check engine light is still there. Seems to come on around 4k rpms. If I stay below it doesnt come on. Car seems to be running fine. Im at a loss here and everyone else is as well. So any suggestions or experiences would be appreciated!!

possible leak where the manifold mates to the head. double check your torque specs. also make sure you are getting spark in all four cylinders. g/l

That was the answer on HondaTech....but Im trying to get more experiences with this flashing. What I meant when I asked how would I know it was the knock sensor, was would there be any other "symptoms"

And I believe the ecu does 1 quick flash at start up, but I would have to check again to be 100% sure. I know the ecu light works, because after taking my chip out & putting it back in, I was throwing a TPS code, which was fixed with the new throttle body. But its back to the flashing check engine again.
