All Eagle Rods require notching?

All Eagle Rods require notching?
Motor: d16z6
Bored:75.5mm
Rods: Golden eagles stamped with 5394.AHO with arp 2000 bolts
What area of the rod hits the block that makes it require notching? What do i need to measure on the rod to know if i need to notch the block or not? I'm searching as i'm waiting for a response to this post.

only the newer eagle rods have to notch the block thats why i buy rev hbeams..its because of the bolt size..make sure you cut the block b4 you bore/hone it
