Well Today project chaos went to Ray miller for a 8 point cage. Shortly after I get her back she will be getting her Blurbo put on...and I would consider her done around Mid May...just in time for the NHRA Import Event in Gainesville. So far everything is going perfect. knock on wood.

The roll cage with everything was just over a grand. But thats a full 8 point painted to match the car Door swing outs and seat belt tabs for the 5 point harness. Like I said Im waiting on piping...which should have been here about a week ago...I called yesterday...and they are still waiting on U-bends so they can get started. Also Im waiting on Charlie at CMR to assemble my turbo I upgraded from the normal t3/t4 to a full T4. But as soon as I ger everything in She will be done withn the week.***John who are you speaking of??? Myself.??

I am gonna need a 6 point soon enough. Where is that shop loacted? Some other guys around here need some cages as well. Not bad pricing for a custom cage. I wouldnt need anything fancy. Basic 6 point. No swing outs and painted rattle can black would be fine. Just spots for the 5 point.

Awesome Rocky! Cant wait to see that beast run. T4...thats some serious sheeeet there. Have you looked into the divided tang housings for the T4? I hear they can lower spool by quite a bit. I know I am going to Gainseville for sure now.

Actually I was told that the ON-Center is pretty good on spooling...also easy for downpipe. So that is what I have. As for spooling alone I would expect somewhere in the 4000-4200 range. Not a real light to light killer...but at the track....Forget about it.

Yeah thats right. The divided one is a PITA on the downpipe. If you can get it to spool like that youll be doing great at the track. Damn high reving cars.

The shop is located in St.Pete.... Ill scan a card later and post the info. Just the 8-point installed was gonna be 850...So I think it would be cheaper he did a 6-point on my friends CRX and it was $500 not painted...nothing fancy. As soon as I get it back...should be Thursday or Friday....I will post pics.
