I got a couple questions for you guys.
1.) What are the differences between all the Honda motors? 2.) What would be a better choice...swap a B18 into a 88-91 CRX or just buy a 94-up Integra? (Chris Ill talk to you about this later) 3.) Were there any other years that the CRX was made? Thanks! |
for racing the swap into the CRX would be much better due to the vast difference in weight. however Id be much happier driving a teg. Heres a short rundown of the einine codes:
H22 & H23- 2.2L and 2.3L I4 engines respectively found in preludes. 200hp 160lb/ft torque F22 F23- Found in accord 4 cyl D16- SOHC Vtec enigne found in civic lx dx ex (Y8=6g EX 127hp Z6=5g EX 125hp) B16- 1.6L DOHC VTEC engine found in civic Si and del sol VTEC (A=Si & VTEC 160hp B=Type R 185hp) B18- 1.8L DOHC engine found in integras (b=([non vtec]LS/GS 140?hp C1=gsr 170hp C5=Type R 195hp[c1&c5 vtec]) B20- CRV engine. 2.0L DOCH non-vtec Not sure of the accord V6 (other than its a 2.3L V6 VTEC) the S2000 (other than its a RWD 2.0L iVTEC I4) or the NSX (other than being one fast b*tch) |
