Weight Reduction Question

Does anyone know how many lbs of tar there is in a 97 integra? Because I just started taking the tar out of my hatch area and i got like 1.7lbs out of just one section. It must all add up front and all.

I completed a Civic hatchback as well as a CRX and they both came out to around 20lbs off the entire car. Its worth the scraping. This is without even touching the underside coating.

Is there a little trick to getting that shit off? Like heating it up or cooling it down? Any chemicals? Ithink my car needs to go on a diet too.

Go down to a place on 301 called Dry Ice and pick up some you guessed it dry ice. Youll need about 30lbs to do your car but its real cheap so dont worry. Just crush the ice up lay it on the affected area wait 5-8 minutes and then chisel away! Its comes up in big chunks real easy like. The rest you can get off with most degreasers and such but I prefer Goo Gone. Go get em tiger and thank me later for how easy it is.

That stuff is nasty I should have removed it all last time my carpet was out but I never really had time. John what does a new piece of carpet for EG go for from HONDA?
