Like I said before I know a little bit about this hybrid swap.

Call up:

Ask for Colin.

Colin has done the 90% of the ls/vtec swaps in Tampa. He wont do you wrong.

Or contact me through e-mail for detailed information concerning ls/vtec swaps at:

Hmm 90% huh? I have to disagree with that statement. A little optimistic.

Anyway balancing isnt really expensive in the range of 100-150 bucks. Worth a few hp and worth a LOT in longevity of the motor. A definate must anytime you are building a short block.

I can handle everything else but Id rather discuss it via private message or email.

Hybrid EG: Nothing has to be drilled for the oil lines you only need a series of npt plugs. The dowel pins have to be enlarged on the head and the vtec oil feed hole has to be tapped and plugged. I had Charley at CMR turbo do mine and he only charged me twenty dollars and was done in an hour. Depending on what ecu you are planning to use you may or may not need to tap the back of the block for a knock sensor. And for the pistons what type are you running? If they are ITR pistons they will have to be balanced b/c in order for them to fit the ls rods they will have to be shaved so the small end of the ls rod will fit the piston. I built my lsvtec myself and it is running very well so if you have any questions feel free to ask via pm or email. And if you get someone to build it for you Colin does very good work.
