Hey I turned 16 in Nov and dad got me a 00 Gs-R. I have finally cracked him into letting me fix it up. Now as i mentioned im 16 so my wallet isnt too big but i want to do some stuff now. What would you guys reccommend as a first couple of mods? I want to drop it but then i have to get rims and all so im lokking probably i/h/e. Is that good for the first mods? Which ones do u think are the best for my car? I know im kinda getting bothersome now but any help would be greatly appreciated. ALso one last thing what shops around here can do some of this stuff? Im in North Tampa in the Lutz area. THANX

This setup has always seemed to work good

1. Skunk2 coilover to lower it (leave stock wheels)
2. Get some good shocks if you can afford it.
3. AEM cold air intake
4. JDM 4-1 with test pipe
5. Greddy exhaust

 

just what he said but no cat bore it out and you can do what i did to my first car when ihad really limted funds.Thermal wrap every thing every 7degrees cooler your air gets it is one horsepower so thermal wrap intake with a thermal cast they have at ant pep boys or discount auto for 5bucks but by a shit load more is better and order the header wrap from any local shop and last just good fluids and spark pugs and wires and maybe a mild clutch
