was wondering if anyone has had one performed or has sceen a really good example of one.it is the only one iwould not want to do my self. i have talked t every shop who does the swap just wanted to know the opinion of people that i have not talked to it about before.by the way it is in a eg/hatch

 

Thats the swap I was planning for this summer before my finances went to hell. If you have the knowledge and the tools it should be pretty simple. I was/will be buying a custom wiring harness so that I dont have to mess around redoing on and then all thats left is just installing the motor mounts (HAsport or Place Racing) renting the cherry picker and plunking the monster in the car. Its really not all that hard just make sure you clear out the week in case of unexpected problems...

 

allready have hasports kit where are you getting your wireing harness i was getting it from either ard performance or jdm honda parts both around 400-500 have you seen them for better.is your swp in a eg hatch mine is definetlly going to be done march 29 keep me updated we have to run each other

 

Have 2 friends with H22 powered hatches in orlando. One is a EK and the other is a EG. The EK had custom mounts made for like 700-800 (before the bolt in kit was available) and the other is using the HASport kit. Custom axles and linkage are also needed I believe. kenji can make you a harness or do the wiring I belive.

 

how much does kenji do the harness i know he does wireing but does he do the full swap .he lives in lakeland right and goes to school here? lakeland is kind of far to haul a engine if he does the swap.anyone get a h22 from collin? Or even see him do one.what about spec R?i sceen 2 from lht i talk to jhon from lht and he told me he would just do the swap only for 1000 and i have to sign a waver because of how bad it will drive i feel it will just drive as good as stock. i have every suspension upgrade made in preperation of this this car is tighter than a 80 year old virgin

 

Why spend $400-500 on a wire harness. Will the wires on the stock harness not reach all the plugs on an h22? Id save the $400 and just extend wires as needed and add the necessary vtec ks ect.. wires. My $.02.
