I have had this noise and shaking in my front end since I bought the car. I have replaced everything in the front end. Apperently this has been a problem for the owner before me(repair records). Some people tell me the rotors are warped(replaced them). Some tell me it is the bushings(bought poly ones). Some even tell me it is the brake caliper bolts(dont see it). If any one has any suggestions please let me know. I even replaced the struts. I am helpless I am even thinking about letting Honda deal with it. It is to the point of selling the car if I cant figure it out. Thank you.

When does the noise and shaking occur? That will tell us a lot.
When you say that youve replaced everything in the front end what exactly have you replaced?

- If its the rotors the shaking will only occur when you brake (unless the rotors are amazingly warped but that aint happening).
- Unbalanced wheels can cause a nasty shake but usually only when at speed (say about 60-70mph)
- Bent rims can cause this problem if they are sufficiently out of round. You can test them out by spinning them on the hub and seeing if they have any run out.
- If the car was slammed before hand you may have some ripped bushings.

The list goes on. Just say exactly when the noise occurs (ie: at speed when braking when turning etc)

The noise and shaking happenes when braking when accelerating when cruising at about 60 and when driving over small bumps it sounds like it is falling apart. Yet there is nothing loose in the front end.

Thats quite a range of occurances.
Has anything been modified on the car? By the way what car are we talking about?
Its pretty hard to diagnose car problems over the net since weve no idea what the sound is like or what shape the car is in.

If youre mechanically capable Id throw the car up on jacks and check the following.
- take wheels to get balanced and checked for damage (ie: bent rim bad radial run out)
- arm bushings
- grab a dial out indicator and check rotors (if they are in bad shape itll tell you theres a wheel problem)
- bust out the impact driver and check out the wheel bearings like Rocky suggested.
- check caliper mounts make sure they arent loose

I want to just blame your problems on bad wheels (bent hubcentric ring problem...) but with the noise happening on acceleration and the car sounding like its falling apart going over bumps Id like to blame the bushings. If youve torn a bushing the ride can get pretty nasty and loud. Usually this is easy to spot since the suspension gets sloppy and biased. Not too much we can do over the computer.

The bushings have been changed to poly ones. And as for the wheel bearings they have been checked and there is no slop in them at all. What it is gonna come down to is to change all the control arms rotors calipers struts and tie rods untill it goes away. And I will only buy parts from Honda so this is gonna get expensive.
