Kenji- I am doing a JDM ITR Header & Testpipe however I have a 96 GSR OBD2 ECU in my 2000 Si (with your wiring harness). I want to splice into the harness to add a circuit of some type that will trick the ECU to not throw a CEL because of my Test pipe. What wire do I splice and what type of circuitry do I need to do this?

Thanks!

Dont have a Helms by me at the moment but cant you just run a 10ohm resistor in line so you dont need to run a secondary Ho2 sensor?

Thats what I want to do but I want to run the resister near my ECU. I have already cut into kenjis wiring harness to install my v-afc. I thought it would be easier to cut into the same wiring harness if I new which wire to tap into. Once done I could do whatever I wanted with the O2 sensor (remove it completely or whatever else)

Why the hell didnt you just go with a 95 GSR ECU? your gonna go through the trouble of using a harness you might as well have gone with OBD1 where the secondary isnt needed and then you could have run programed ECUs.

I have 99 civic i didnt run a test pipe but actually bored the honey comb inside the catmy CEL always comes on when i drive in the freeway or in cruising modeOBDII codes out 67(cat system effiency below threshold) so im in the same situation as S&P i was thinking of putting the 2 O2 sensor near each other since these 2 sensors are just comparing voltage from each other..maybe im wrong i dont know but someone can help us out . that`ll be woop ass..!
BILL: can u give more details on the resistors?? thanks

Well first off Id just test out your secondary Ho2 sensor. Just get a multimeter set it up and run the car make sure that the sensor is heated up first though. A code 67 doesnt exactly mean that the secondary Ho2 sensor is funked up it could be other things as well. If it does just turn out to be the o2 sensor replacing it would work but if its a conflict due to your current turbo system you could just circumvent it all together by wiring up a 10k ohm resitor....or is it 12k? Bleh its been a while Ill try and think about it later and get back to you.

Using a 10K Ohm resistor is not the way to solve the code 67. That code is caused by the secondary O2S receiving a signal too soon or too late with respect to the primary O2S. The only way to make sure that code is taken care of is to switch to OBD1.

There are some people out there that claim to have solved this problem using resistors but I just dont see it happening.

If you are turbo and still have OBD2 you are going to throw codes. OBD2 is just too tempremental for boost.
