Anyone run without heat shielding around the cat?

Cool. So far I havent had any problems.
Just didnt want to melt the damn carpet insulation in my car.
The heat doesnt seem to be an issue as of right now. When I drive up to the NOPI show I guess Ill find out what prolonged driving will do.

Hey bill i have been runnin with no heat shields for over 2 months now... and I can feel the heat some but its not melting anything.... And I drove my car from Florida to Connecticut... It should be nice for the winter though...
